I am trying to help my "old man" solve a problem with a recently purchased MF35 that he bought at an auction. The problem is when he brought it home, the power steering went out of it. All I know is he needs the complete housing for the power steering, basically, he needs it all. He has called around to different tractor parts suppliers across the country and cannot find this part. We need help. We are new at this farming stuff and just wrapped up all our tractor money with this one purchase, and I am afraid we are going to be stuck with a tractor we cannot fix due to lack of parts. I hope someone out there can help us with this problem. Someone told us that they believe you can interchange other model parts, but were not sure which ones. Thanks for your help!!!!

Angie, if worst comes to worst it can be swapped to manual steering, a last resort. i think you can find all the part to rebuild it though. have you checked in "atis tractor salvage yard list" it list a whole bunch of them with phone numbers very few have websites. hope this helps, you'll love your little tractor when you get it right. i even use mine to mow the yard each week (8 acres) 6 foot finsh mower was a lot cheeper than a new snapper.

Read the "archive articles" under research and info at the left. I have seen the topic discussed several times. Parts can be found. Have you checked with a Massey-Ferguson dealer?
There are alot of old tractor part dealers listed on the internet.
