I need a seat for my mf135. When I got it, it had an old JD square flat bottom seat with worn out bushings. It just don't belong on there.
I tried one of the padded floating seats but I got too much butt for those; it doesn't go back far enough without slotting the bracket.
My question: It seems that some places sell the same seat pan and spring to fit both the mf35 and the Ford 9N. Would that fit my 135? And I may need to slot the spring more to slide it farther back if it will fit.

You could go with an aftermarket one that slides back a ways and has a good cushyness to it. We're on our 3rd or 4th aftermarket seat for our 285 now. Some where down the road the original ended up on my grandpa's old Ford 600 loader tractor and my dad traded it off for a 165.
