I have a early model MF135 Gas with a continitial engine, I have lost(if the where ever there) the two nuts which hold the wires onto the safety switch. I have to get off tractor and put at least one wire back on one of the studs. This thing is located under gas tank on transmission housing. I need to know the studs thread size/pitch.All help appreciated.

Hi,
You should not have 'studs' in the safety switch. The 35's first 135's had small screws going into a sort of split block. You then tightened the screw down on the wire. Later tractors had the Lucar or blade type terminal. The best thing would be to remove the switch and have a look at it. A pair of grips is normally OK as there is not much room for a large spanner or adjustable wrench. You may find that someone has screwed 'studs' into the switch and added nuts. I would guess that the screws are 1/8" or 3/16" unc.
