Cost to replace clutch?

So my 1964 MF 65 spit a chunk of clutch out onto the ground when I took the bottom plate off last month.
What's a fair and reasonable price to expect to pay an honest mechanic to have the tractor split, dual clutch replaced? What else should I have done when it's apart, assuming I'll have any $$ left?
Thanks for your input...Barry

I was quoted $650 to replace the dual clutches and pressure plate on my Massey 65. Parts run about $300 if you ant to do it yourself.
