I am putting a new Tractormeter on my 55 model TO 35. Where does the drive unit mount for this meter? I hve been through everything I can find and I cannot find anything that describes where to mount the drive unit. I found your description of the alternator conversion where you mounted the drive unit on the back of the alternator. Should I assume that the drive unit for the tractormeter will mount on the back of my original generator?

Yes, the Tach drive did mount on the back of the original generator on almost all of the tractors with Continental engines before 1974.
