I am putting this old TO 35 back together and I did not have a lot of the stuff on the tractor when I took it apart. I need to know where I hook the oil sending line for the guage. I have found a port immediately in back of the block drain plug on the right side of the tractor where the block meets the transmission, but I think this is a water port. Also, I downloaded a wiring diagram fot the To 35 and I am following it to rewire my tractor. I have a couple of questions. First, is there an in and an out for the starter solenoid or can I hook the battery lead onto either post. Second, when looking at the diagram, it says to run a wire from the ammeter guage to the bottom post on the regulator. It is marked Batt. However, my regulator is marked "Batt" on the middle post. Does the ammeter guage hook to the "Batt" post on the regulator or does it hook to the lower post? Thanks for any help. The wiring diagram in the parts book is useless as it runs all of the wires into a loom and does not show how they come through the loom.

I went and looked at my MF65 (G176) and my oil pressure tap is located behind the carburetor, above and to the right of the oil filter. I would say that yours is likely similar.

Thanks Aaron. I will take a look and see if I can find a port in that location. It must be behind the governor apparatus if it is above and to the right of the oil filter.
