I've search the internet and all topics on this site but I do not seem to find the right wiring diagram for my MF 135. The diagram which comes closest is that of bigdean63's site and maybe from Joe Ferguson. The wiring diagram that Joe send has no large resolution so when I enlarge it, it will be blurred beyond recognition. Joe, if you read this, can so send me a good quality copy? The problem I have is that I miss the temperature gauge wiring and also the directionindicator switch. Has anyone a correct wiring diagram? Thanks in advance!

The MF-135
Produced from 1965 till 1979. The MF-135 replaced the MF-35. It was available with diesel or petrol engines, the Perkins AD3.152 (2490ccm) for diesel power and Continental Z134* (2195ccm) and Z145* (2375ccm) for petrol power. Later models could be supplied with a Perkins petrol engine, the AG3.152. Gears: 6 forward and 2 reverse on all models. Multi-power doubled it.
The MF-135 & MF-150 used the same engines and bore the same relationships to each other as the older MF-35 & MF-50 did.
*) The Z134 in the MF-135 Special, and the Z145 in the MF-135 Deluxe.
A Very popular tractor!

Both these sites have a lot of info on Massey tractors. There is wire diagrams for UK built tractors . (LUCAS electrics) The ones built in france might be the same. There are also PERKINS parts manuals. Ray-s..

Hello Ray-s,

Thanks for your reply, I really do appreciate it. But it also marks the fact that the problem I have will not be solved easyly. I know of these website's and I do visite those regulary. I have the same posting on the annatefka website as well. Problem is that all wiringdiagrams do not include directionindicators, (water)temperaturegauge, fuse connections and safetyswitches (preventing to start the tractor when gear is not in neutral and the clutchpedal is not pushed)
The tractor is build in France so maybe thats the problem. If you chech the specs:
Tractor model: 135 8 S
Serialnumber of my tractor: R546022
Enginenumber: UAF1329
I have not found a website that has these numbers on a list. Do you have a clue?!
Thanks, Arta

Hi Arta, The tractor model maybe means , 135 8 speed Standard. I do not know these things , but can give you some ideas to think about..
Link
click on "tekniska data "
This site has serial nos for 135 , from 101=1965-----to 1979 SN 487350 - 490714. Your number of 546022 would still not fit in there. I have seen sn lists for UK tractors and they only seem to go the same as this list. -Puddings site also has the SN list for UK tractors. If you gould take the number 5 off the front and put it with the R (R5 46022) then the five digit number would be 1966 ?.. R5 might have had some meaning in the French factory at Beauvais.??.If you can figure the date on the Perkins engine it would narrow down the tractor year. On the wiring I might have a diagram of UK 135 with Lucas eletrics. Starter, Dynamo , Voltage Reg.. I had my Hard drive crash a few months ago, so lost whatever I did not have On CD. Hope this helps some. Ray-s

Thanks for your extensive reply!!
I did search for some french information but got nowhere. Maybe if i search for beauvais i might get somewhere. The engine i've got is a Perkins AD3.152 but as you can see the serialnumber is UAF1329. That does not match anywhere eather. I got a reply from the annatefka.com website that someone has a wiring diagram from the MF 152 and that it looks like the one I need. He will send it to me by regular mail. So if correct, I send a copy for everyone to use. If some people decide to change the electrics than they might consider to add directionindicators and fuses and warninglights etc. This might be usefull than.

This is the history of Massey Ferguson in france up to the MF35 - 1965..
Arta , I have read all I could find about the Massey factory at Beauvais France. I have also researched what I can on PERKINS engine. We have a UK 135 and a Canadian built Massey PONY which we restored. ( 90% )..They are both working tractors. I have a couple sheets of printout on the perkins. The serial numbers I have only go back to 1974. They are much longer than what shows on your tractor. Massey bought out Perkins sometime back then and the serial system might of got changed ?.I think Perkins was all built in England in those days. So the U could mean UK built. F could refer to France . That leaves the year to be determined..The 1329 could be a build line number, the 13 hundred and 29th engine built that year..( what year?? ) That is the question.
Someone sent me a diagram from the UK for a 148. It was pretty accurate for the uk tractors. I think the 135 became the 148.( Dont have it now) Anyone jump in here with corrections..

Man, you jumped in there! Thanks a lot for the effort. I hope someone could give me the final answer. What I did get was a wiring diagram for the MF 152. That looks pretty accurate so I will digitalize it and send it on the internet. Thanks again! Arta

Hi guys
I have a wiring diagram for the 60's early 70's MF 135 UK and also the 135 UK Cold Climate model, both with the AD3 152 . Both of these show Neutral safety switch's, and fuse locations but not electric water temp. gauges. I understand turn signals had their own wiring diagram which came with them. Lighting is also a seperate diagram of which i have a poor copy. If you guys could use any of these E-Mail me.

JJ.

Hi JJ. Yes I could use a schematic for our 1973 UK 135 with Perkins AD3152 diesel. I have figured out most of the wiring. A little fuzzy around the voltage reg. I don't care about the lights. They seem to work ok. Thanks Ray-s
