Hi,

I think my TED 20 has a Feguson Brown seat, because the seat I have can't be the original one. It looks different from the TE 20 seats I see on pictures, and also what I have seen on other TE 20.

The Ferguson Brown I have seen in club magazine looks like the one I have, lower back rest, and a lot more holes in it.

Do you know anything about this ? Was the TE 20 ever delivered with the Ferguson Brown seat ?

:It would be very unlikely that your TE20 would have a Brown seat from the factory as the ferguson-brown was built in the 20 and the ferguson was started in coventry ,England in 1945 and the first TO's (Tractor, Overseas,20 hp) were shipped in fall 1946 to US to the new facotroy built in Detroit. Possible the fist owner put a seat on the tractor that fit he had that fit his seat.
I am interested in what year and or serial number your treactor has. Am trying to help a friend with an early to20 with the Standard engine and Zenith carb that were built in England.

There are several good books out there on the Ford-Ferguson , Ferguson and M-F. I'll send titles and authors if you want and have access to order them
Take care and enjoy your TE-20.
