hey, yall i"ve got liquid oil spitting out my exhaust, removed the manifold to see which cylinder, its comming from the valve guides i thought this to be weird without smoke but if comming from guides then what could be the problem masseys dont have valve guide seals. i was looking in the manual and they talk about the rockershaft being rotated to lubricate the arms, says if under or over lubrication is noted to rotate shaft to verticle position. could it be overlubricating and not draining from head fast enough therefore flooding down valve guides

Hi Chris,
Do you have any noticeable reduction in oil pressure on the gauge? Yes, normally worn guides and or valve stems will allow oil to drain down into the bores. Excess oiling from the rocker shaft is rare, but possible if there is wear between the shaft and rockers.....hence the drop in pressure. My thought would be a seized or broken oil control ring on one or more of the pistons. The top ring 'cleans' the bore of oil to prevent excess usage. If this fails, oil will collect on top of the piston and be blown out through the exhaust. Have you checked to make sure that the breather pipe and connection to the rocker box are clear?

Excuse my ignorance of that particular model, but is it a Turbo? If so suspect turbo bearings/seals for oil in the exhaust.
