Just purchased a log spliter that has 2 hyd. lines(with out ends on them) from hyd cyl.and nothing else . How do I make this work on my 44 ?

I"m assuming your 44 has its own hydraulic pump mounted somewhere on the side of the engine, as is mine, with hyd. hoses running to the control lever near the steering wheel used to operate the front-end loader. To run the log splitter, I would just disconnect the loader hoses and attach the remote hoses to the same outlets. I use the "pioneer" type fittings, but most any would fit if the are the same brand. My set-up would be a little clumsy having to reach up to operate the loader lever if you were working alone, but that"s one of many ways of doing this. Nothing like burning wood to stick it to the oil companies!
