Where can one purchase a quality comprehensive illustrated repair and parts manuals (exploded views)for an MF35 Deluxe (1964 model)W/Z134 Gas Contintntal? I've already made the mistake of buying the cheap IT brand and the one on CD found online. The dealers apparently have a CD version of the parts manual with exploded views. Does anyone know if these are available to us common folk? Would make it nice for ordering parts eh?

Thanks

Bill

When I got my MF, I simply copied down the serial number, model number and such. Went to local MF dealer and ordered all 3 manuals: Operator Manual, Repair Manual, and Parts Manual. All are completely readable, sharp, clear pictures, ultimate exploded veiws, etc. End of problem. Best money I ever spent.

Thanks Tom, that's exactly what I'm going to do. I have a large dealer not more than 10 miles away.

I got mine from here under Manuals. They were reprints and of usable value and guaranteed satisfaction. I was quasi satisfied; enough to keep them. Pictures were poor and any picture in technicolor was useless.

Thanks Mark:

I was afraid of that. For the price, one would think they would be better. I am particularly interested in the parts manual with the exploded views sold here for about $36.00. Are the exploded diagrams readable with MF part numbers so one can, at least, identify the parts?

I inquired by phone about these manuals and, of course, the rep had no idea of there quality. All he could tell me was that they were returnable if I was willing to pay shipping charges both ways and a 20% restocking charge just to determine if they were of any use. I wish someone would create the manuals in a clear pdf format on CD for us lowly customers similar to what the dealers have. You would think the parts sellers would benefit from customers having access to a clear comprehensive parts manual eh? Well, perhaps not given what they make on a substandard manual.

I bought a CD from Australia that claimed to be the best, albeit relatively cheap, but I was dissapointed because the illustrations were unreadable for the most part and the so called parts list was incomplete and not illustrated at all.

Thanks for your help.

Bill

Having paid really outrageous prices for OEM manuals for other tractors, I was impressed with the prices for the 3 volume set.

For that I felt that I could tolerate some disfigurement. Other than an electrical wiring diagram for a MF 35 3-152 Perkie I haven't had any problems and the wiring diag I needed was readily furnished by people such as us to people such as us. HTH

I managed to pickup a dealers parts book on e-bay. About 250 pages of exploded diagrams and parts numbers. Has been a help. Also got the basic MF (from MF) maintance book there also. Think I paid about $30.00 for the big book. Also "Big Deans" CD can be a big help. His CD has a lot of pictures from the MF parts book. Lot Luck.....

Hey,

Go to your local MF dealer and order a Parts, & Workshop Service manual for your tractor. Best detailed ones out there. If you still want a CD, track down Big Dean, and get one of his. I will be soon!!

Take care,

Will
