HI, BIG DEAN. HAD THE LINES THE OTHER WAY AND POWER WOULD NOT WORK. CONSULTED THE BOOK AND IT SHOWS PRESSURE LINE FROM TOP OF PUMP TO THE PORT CLOSEST TO THE MIDDLE OF CYLINDER AND THE RETURN LINE TO BE FROM PORT CLOSEST TO SHAFT END TO THE SIDE OF THE PUMP. IS THIS CORRECT?

Chris That steering has to have enough slack in it to to open the seletor valve wide open in both directions before the wheels start to move with the engine shut off. The pins in the ending of the centering turnbuckle will cause that problem it takes very little wear on those pins to cause that problem. here is anothere pictur for you on that. There is another set up that is a little different from this that yours may have Big Dean
