I have a mh-50 engine gas z134 with less than 100 hours on a new motor. It has a new carburator also. The motor seems to be very strong but it will only run if i keep the choke about 3/4 closed. When i pull the choke out "open" the engine will backfire and die. I checked the valve lash and they are fine. When the govenor kicks in i watch it move but it doesnt make the motor rev up. The carburetor is new and came from this site so i know that it isnt that. Does it sound like a manifold leak.
