My brother and I are trying to repair a tractor that belonged to my father. He passed away and we have no idea what model or how to find out what model it is. The only information I have on it is that it has aPerkins three cylinder diesel motor and a front loader bucket assy on it. I've looked and there are all kinds of numbers every where on it. How do I know what model it is. We would like to buy a shop or repair manual for it. Can anyone tell me where to find the model so I can buy the right manual?

No plate on dash. Seems like every part on it has a number in the casting. Sent the injectors out and had them rebuilt. Had to send them because I could not find out what model this tractor is. They are for the Perkins diesel in it anyway so no help on model number.

Hi Brian,

With the 3cyl. Perkins it is probably a MF35 or a 135. The 35 has a rounded hood, A3-152 indirect injection (vertical injectors) engine. The 135 has the square hood, AD3-152 direct injection ,(angled injectors) engine. Early ones have the swept back front axle, like the 35, later ones have straight axles. Some have the engine # on the inlet manifold. There are some variations on this depending where in the world they where built.

Hope this helps, JJ.
