I picked up a pulley drive assembly unit from a scrap yard for my MH 20. It has no pulley on it, just the outside flange on the end of the assembly shaft with the 4 bolt locations to attatch something to. What exactly was (is) available as a bolt on for these tractors? Are we talking a steel pulley, paper pulley, v-belt pulley, chain sprocket? Or maybe all or some of the above?

In the parts book for the 20 and 22 it only shows
the 9 l/2" Rockwood pulley(Rpl by metal in later
years) Other machines and of other brands likely
had their own types of pulleys etc to drive from
this output shaft. Chuck

I saw an 81 at a salvage yard that had a v pulley on it that ran to a jack shaft to a sickle mower. The set up was totally home made. I have also seen the standard belt pulley. It must have been 6 or 8 inches wide. You can also get a cover. These do not bolt on like the bigger masseys. There have spring clips that slip over the back of the housing behind the flange.
