I have broken down the right side final drive of my massey 265 to replace a leaking axle/oil seal. Everything was smooth sailing until I attempted to pull the planetary housing from the short axle shaft on the stud plate. I have attepmted to pull it with a puller, I have taken it to a machine shop and tried to have it pressed off, and I've taken it to a dealer with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem, or have any further suggestions? If so I need help!!!

Hello,
You definately will need help on this one. In the UK, Churchill used to make the special tools, pullers etc and made one for the job. Our 500 Series manual shows the job being done with the Churchill puller. IT DON'T WORK.
I had to replace the seal on an MF 250 recently and made a up a similar puller. Useless. I contacted my local MF dealer and he had a very special hydraulic puller for the job. It is probably an MF special tool. If your local MF man does not have one I would suggest that you contact other MF dealers in your area and see if they have one.
Good luck.
