Am about to go look at a MF30 Industrial. Made in 1975 with a loader. I don't know if it gas or diesel, should know later today. I really can't find much about this model. Other than the normal things to look for does anyone have any complaints about this model? I will mainly be using it to brush hog and move some dirt now and then. How large of a brush hog should it handle? Thanks gang.....

I have a 30b ind. with a 34a loader. I'm pretty happy with it even though it's sittin out right now with the power steering out which I am going post a request for help with in a minute.. I've had to do mostly repairs on stuff due to neglect of the the previous owner(contractor)- stuff like front spindles(145.00)front hub (110.00) I think the loader is a little heavy for the tractor but with a counter weight it is a workhorse. I get a few chuckles from the locals who want to know what that ugly yellow thing is out in the fields when we are running the haybine, rake, or baler with it. I had a set of forks fabbed up for it and and haven't seen a round bale that it couldn't handle

The MF30 is baisically a Industrial version of the AG MF165. If has a manual shuttle transmission it will probably have a two stage clutch and PTO but they do not all have these options. If it has the Instant Reverse transmission with the forward and reverse pedals on the right side of the transmission it probably will not have a PTO if it does have a PTO it will only turn when when one of the pedals are pushed down. Hope this helps some If I can be of further help email me
