What is the difference between Z-134 and Z-145
Is it the same block ?
Is it the same head ?
Which parts are different ?

I plan to buy a parts tractor and wd like to know

I have a MF-135 and looking a MF-50 for parts

Thanks for reading

Other than the possibility of a few engine parts nothing else from the 50 will interchange with the 135. I agree with Gerald that you're better off working on the 135 with replacement parts. Tim

The main differences between the 134 and 145 are displacement made by a difference in stroke and sleeve bore. The head on my MF-135 with Z145 says Z-134. But the parts book shows different part numbers for most everything for Z134 vs Z145 (135 special vs deluxe) from block to head as I remember looking a few months ago. I don't know how close the MF-50 might be.

Unless your 135 is already ill or you plan to run it 15,000 hours in 5 years, I don't think a parts tractor will prove to be a good investment. Most all the wear parts are available new from many sources.
