Any suggestions on the best way to replace the front engine seal on an F226 in a Massey Harris 44-6?

Well, you've gotta get the crankshaft nut off and then the pulley. Once that is done, you can "try" prying the seal out of the front engine cover but you are probably better off removing the cover to get the seal out. Once it'sitself is actually between the machined pulley hub and the lip of the seal so you might want to look around for another Continental pulley if yours has a bad groove in it or is rough, etc. Or you might want to make some measurements and not seat the new seal in exactly where the old one went so you are sealing on a different part of the pulley hub.
