just wondering what the "TO" 35 means,as far as i can figure out its a 1955,sn-150926,is it a ford,or a massey or does it matter when ordering parts?my buddy next door has one simular ,cant find sn but it does have a few differences,his lights are on the hood where mine are on the fenders,both have 4 cyl diesels.isthere any other diff between to two or just age diff?

Never seen any TO with the forward lights on the fenders, unless wired aftermarket that way. (Rear lights are on the fenders of course.) You didn't say they were "forward" lights, but I'm assuming that's what you meant. Also, normally the TO-35, especially a 1955 model, would have the Continental Z134 engine. Four cylinder diesel confuses me. Sure it's not a three cylinder Perkins diesel? Is it a two speed tranny with six forward and two reverse? Does it have the two stage clutch: halfway down stops tractor, all way down stops PTO? What is the base color?

Cam2, The TO stands for Tractor-overseas,which
meant US built. TE on the 20 for example means
Tractor-England. Hope that helps. Chuck

A TO-35 would be a Ferguson, built after the Massey Harris and Ferguson merger but before the name change to Massey Ferguson.
