MF35 Front Axle Upgrade?

Is it possible to upgrade the front axle on a MF35?
The reason I ask is because I saw a MF35 on ebay and in the pics it had a non-adjustable front axle similar to an industrial tractor like a MF30 or Workbull.

Thanks,
C. D. Hunter

somebody posted a while back about putting MF50 (orchard?) straight axle on front of MF135, wanted stronger axle to handle FEL, maybe it was a 35

if I remember they told him that they swap out, the adjustable axle seems kinda flimsey comapred to the straight one

I think you would have to change the front casting to do that. Also the MF50 has a different front casting than the MF35. I will ask later today and repost. Gary

I checked with a reliable source and was told that the casting would need to be changed then you would have trouble getting the tinwork to bolt on. The MF35 utility with the sold axle would allow you to bolt up the stock tin.

How about the casting of MF148 and late MF135? They had a straight but adjustable front axle. Is that casting different than the one for a bent axle?
