My mh30 1949 has a side pulley and rear PTO
and my MH30 1951 has the rear PTO and a dust cap
covering side pulley shaft. My 1951 rear PTO shaft shows a 3/8 in front/back play. But my 1949 is dead solid, no play at all. Is this due to the 51 missing pulley, thereby
allowing more gear lash, or do I have something
to worry about. I'm using the 49 for scrap and building the 51.
The PTO works fine but have not tried it under load yet. I am trying to avoid the work of taking
off the plates of both to see the difference. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks folks!
