The engine tag reads MHF 50, the dash tag reads MF 50. Which is it?

Hi Bob

Look at the hood in the photo
There is a concave curve each side of the hood
this is a MH-50....which is the continuity of the
hood shape of previous MH-30, 33, 44 , 55

The MF-50 has round side hood

The first MF-50's had a bird shape emblem front of the hood (like MH-50) which was air filter inlet.

In "aprox 1963" they changed the bird for a triangular cover with screen (air inlet)and MF emblem fixed to the screen.

Happy tractoring !

Joe Ferguson.
