Hello again, about a month ago, I asked for some help in determining the value of a MH Pony that had been sitting outside for a couple of years. The exhaust was open, the tires were all flat, & the motor was stuck. I received many helpful reply's but then found out that this was "in limbo" in a divorce proceeding. The lady owner listed it in an auction. That same tractor brought $1000.00 at the sale this past Wednesday. I guess I must have missed something when I looked at that tractor. Thanks for all the help everyone, and I just thought you might like an update on that unit.

Hey Dan in reply to Jon Bottum, 02-01-2007 17:50:32
I'll give you $450 for your pony. Bring her down and park it in front of the barn.

Hey ORANGE
Mine CAN come down. Can yours come up?
What are doing over here on a respectable Red board anyway?

Still got my 245. I can pick up the Pony with my loader. Got to get my barn done before I start another red tractor. Just need to paint the hood on my Allis.

Jon,
amertrac's right for around here unless it came with something like a loader, mower, etc. the MH implements are hard to find and that may be what drove he price up. After all, central NY isn't a hot bed of farming much anymore.

Location ,condition, price there are many factors, like any thing its worth only what someone is willing to pay for it, I bought one (Pony) a month ago running (not good at all) for $400.00 dollors
knowing it could be parted out if I had too, and get my money back ( I won't) it will take a $1000.00 or so to get it where it should be ( looking good safe)Front tires, battery. carb re-build, muffler, manifold, side covers steering wheel, paint, decals etc. it adds up when your all done its lucky if you break even
The grand kids love these little tractors, the old lady loves me in the garage working on these while drinking my beer not out in the town. keep looking they show up.
