Hi

I'm looking to put a little backhoe (6 foot deep capable) on my MF-135
I wd like to have experiences and comments
from persons who have used or using a little
backhoe on MF-135 or MF-50.

Thanks in advance

Bart CA

I have a MF-135. It had a MF-236 loader that was a little much for the tractor. I used a Long 1099 backhoe on it. I tapped into the loader hydraulics (external pump) with a power beyond plug on the loader valve. I used male and female hose ends so I could connect them together when the backhoe wasn't mounted. Worked OK, except I had to add a sturdy chain from the lower hitch pins running under the drawbar mount so when the bucket needed down pressure it lifted the tractor, not just me and the backhoe. For that reason, many small backhoe hitches are solid, bars to the tractor axles and frame, ignoring the three point hitch. My Long frame was the right width the category 1 hitch pins were on the inside, so I used double ended cat 1/2 pins and used a slip hook on the chain end on the outer pin.
