Hi,In the uk agco(mf)sell 10+ parts. The engine kit for a 135 is not much more expensive than copy parts but at least the parts are approved by massey ferguson and guaranteed.

it's not so mutch the kits but but how good of job you do putting it in things must be clean, lub all parts real good, things must be clean lub all parts, THINGS MUST BE CLEAN, done many 15 to 20 perkins rebuilds and have used many kits can't say i like anyone better then the other only real thing i see is the gaskets. but so far happy with all. most of the time the most important part is the put togeather. don't rush take your time and do it right. most tractors that have short life after rebuilds that go bad that i see are the rings are put in wrong some thing so easy. just did a 248 and rings were all up side down and they all were marked but they were still wrong

A genuine Perkins is worth the money. I wouldn't mess around with anything else. I've done over a few Perkins engines mostly 354's and 236's I think they were about $900 and $700 for the kits respectivley. I used to work at a dealership that liked to use tisco kits, wasn't enough asprin in the world that could handle those headaches.

I used a EOK kit from this site. Don"t think the hard parts were Chinese. Carb Kit might have been, but I trashed it anyhow. It was very poor quality. My machinist was impressed with the quality of the parts. If you want to hear it run, search my posts for the first fire video. Saved around 400 bucks buying the kit here. It was delivered in 44 hours of placing the order. HTH
