I have a 245

Strong points:
Perkins Diesel. Starts instantly, easy on fuel, quiet, reliable. Very tight turning radius.

Weak points. Front end broke after use and abuse with a front end loader. (Repaired out ok.)

Multi-power transmission needs to be exercised or it tends to stick.

It's a lightly built tractor compared to the MF '100' series. The overall HP compares to a MF 135.. but the 245 feels like it has about half the iron as the older model.

For general farm/estate use (raking, mowing, light cultivation) it should be fine. If you want to work something hard and heavy I'd look for more iron (or steel).
