This is a re-post from a question I asked a while back on the forum:

"If you drive a hydraulic pump from the front of the engine you will have a problem with the steering arm contacting the pump drive shaft. This will limit the turning radius in one direction. The solution is to find the correct steering arm. I do not have the part number but I believe the correct arm came in an upgrade kit for use with loaders. I am also told that the steering arm from an industrial 65R will work."

I have a 50 with the front mounted hydraulic pump. Currently I'm using the standard arm and it greatly limits my turning radius going left. Since I use the tractor for mowing my 6 acre lawn, it's getting to be a real pain to figure out how to manuver around it only turning right.

Does anyone know if this answer is correct. I've asked around and no one seems to know what a 65R is. If someone knows what the part # is, where I could get this steering arm or how could I fabricate it I'd sure be most greatful.
