I am trying to put a mf 236 loader on my 1967 mf 165 tractor. The loader came off of a mf283 so the front mounting brackets are wrong but i think the subframe will bolt up with little modification. The manual instructs you to secure the subframe to the sides and bottom of the transmission housing using 8 bolts. My tractor only has the 4 bottom bolt holes where the inspection cover is. To me this seems like too much weight on the bell housing. Should i fabricate supports going to the rear axles? Also where can i find the front supports to fit my 165.
Thanks!

The MF-236 mounts for my MF-135 only used the four bolts on the bottom of the bell housing. Nothing broke under there. Sometime the front axle broke before I bought the tractor. It was too much loader for the 135 but should be a pretty good fit for the 165. I've since build totally new mounts and have it on my JD 4020 where it could be bent or broken, but it hasn't so far.

I don't know where to find any of the mounting brackets.
