Seems that finding a rebuilt Delco-Remy 2346, is out of the question so now I woul like to know of a reputable distributor rebuilder, I found a earlier post about getting a distributor rebuilt somewhere but have not been able to find post again. Distributor is a Delco Remy 1112346 off a MF 135. Tractor is down and I need to get it going all help appreciated.

I got a Pertronix distributor ( not just the conversion kit) for my F162. It was only $20 more than the kit price. If you go to their website you can download their industrial catalog and probably find what you're looking for. You'll have to take the part number to your local shop that carries Pertronix so they can order it in for you. I gave my part number to Summit Racing and they ordered it in for me.

Just have to keep looking for a rebuilder or find our where Walt sends his maybe? I can't get bushings or shafts for those from Delco and others can't either unless they just have NOS parts on the shelf yet or can make the shafts and bushings which takes more time and labor of course. So is that the 4 cyld. one then for Perkins 152 engine? Have you tried a Agco - MF dealer also? Might try a Pertronix dealer and ask if any they have for Continental can be converted for that? Pertronix makes some new electronic distributors but not sure if any are for or will work on 152 engines. I've tried to get them to make more new distributors for some tractors but they haven't yet and keep saying not enough demand.

Tractor has a Continental 145 4cylinder engine, if that helps.

You might not even have the correct distributor? Delco 1112346 was a good dist. number but I didn't find it listed being used on any MF tractors or the 135. Delco manuals show the MF 135 with Z145 engine used 1112644, 4 cyld. dist and MF 135 special with Z134 used 1112643, 4 cyld. dist. Some tractor supply places show to have those available as rebuilts in their catalogs.

Ok, Like the Z145 then. I can't remember if drives on those are similar to F162 or F163 or not? They are making new Pertronix distributors for those as they were so popular on forklifts, welders and industrial use but they aren't cheap. Might spend half or more what a new one cost though rebuilding yours?

Charles,
Sorry I wasn't any help. I knew the one I cut/pasted wasn't correct, just hoped he might have a source for the one you were looking for. Good luck, C. T.
