have a 50 that i rebuilt and put many new parts on new tire rims manifold nowthe rear main is leaking is this seal a drive in seal or is the oil pan need to come backoff the lift is alittle weak and it drops as soon as the engine is turned off i put new 90w oil in it with little change last low oil pressure when hot real good when cold

Hi!

Did you put new bearings to the engine when you rebuilt it? If so, i"d examine the oil pump and the relief valve for the low oil pressure when hot problem.

Chad Which engine do you have a gas or diesel if it is a diesel it is probably your rear pan gasket leaking instead of the rear seal. they have a 2 piece rope rear crankshaft seal and it is very rear they leak. Your hydraulic leaking down problem is cause by a bad leak in the system the weak lifting problem is probably the pump need to be rebuilt and the control valve needs replaced.
