Hi Guys
I have a 1150 and a 2805 Massey and intend taking they to local shows during the summer. I dont have a trailer strong enough to carry either model so though about towing one behind the other with a rigid steel bar. Which tractor should I tow with? I am concerned about damaging the transmission. The 1150 has the Multi Power while the 2805 has the 24 speed. Should both tractors be running when towing? Any ideas welcome. I do intend having a driver on the second tractor. Thanks for now.

Hi Bill
Im a Massey V8 nut too,
Im in Kansas Bill , But I dont see mant massey's around here too much,
But im not moved by that though,
I like 1150's like your's , and 1155's andn the 2000 series that alot of people over here think were a bad tractor, just the opposite,
Really like the roomy cab on the 2000 serie,s really cool,
i pay no mind to people that make comment's about thing's they know nothing about,
HiP Hip Hooray for the Red and white Triple Triangle!

Kirk in Kansas is going to go over and steal your tractors if he stops drooling long enough. Apparently he's a big fan of the MF Perkins V 8's.

If you are planning on having a driver for both, you would be better off driving both. Towing anything can be hard on components that require lubrication and pressures. Both tractors require pressure to turn the front wheels. Turning them without the engine running is impossible. Even under power, its hard on the front end. I wouldn't tow either one.
