I am in need of a front driveshaft (transmission to front axle) for a Massey Ferguson 1040 tractor.

Dear Christine, you got three advanced answers to three of the thousands of possible advanced implied questions in your statement. Although hundreds of viewers who read your post wouldn't go there with a ten-foot pole, I had to come along and be the sucker to try to help, and get grief for my bother. Sorry! After years of marriage, my ESP still doesn't work worth a hoot, so you'd think I would have learned by now. That's OK; I still love ya.

Forgive us for yawning and moving on to the next post but there's no question here. If we ASSUME that one is IMPLIED, we could try to guess what it might be and say something like: "Your MF dealer might be able to order one" or "take your damaged one to a drive-train shop and have them make you a new one" or "contact some tractor junkyards and see if you can find a good used one." But of course, perhaps you've already tried all of these and we're still not guessing the right question.(?)

The question is implied in the statement. This might require a little bit of advanced thinking on your part.
