We have a MF 3545 with a perkins 6cyl diesel and the sump levels keep going up. We have so far taken the injection pump in for testing and it is okay. Replaced the lift pump as well, same problem. Can anyone give us some more suggestions. Thanks

check heater-plug in inlet manifold as diesel can
drip in to the cylinder bores and hence into the
sump when the tractor is stopped.Very bad injectors can have the same effect but engine will run badly. In extreme cases bent con-rods can cause same effect as the injected diesel is not burnt but condenses on the cylinder walls and into the sump
