Hi there!

Just bought an MF 65.
The owner had trouble in starting the tractor and he had dismounted the fuel feeder pump.

Wich wasn't broken, so i've reinstalled it and everything works fine, also bleeded the whole system. So i can see the deisel coming from the two bleeding bolts on the injector pump. but still there is nothing coming to the injectors, not any of them.

What can it be?, is the injector pump gone?

Thankyou for ideas!

regards

Andreas

A little tip ill probably sound a fool for suggesting the obvious thing. Yet u do realise when u loosen the injectors u have to turn the engine over till the diesel leaks out because the hand pump doesnt deliver the fuel past the injector pump. Dont let her start just jun her over till the injector puts out diesel

Not sure it was the injectorpump, since the new one i bought gave me the same problem.

And this pump was working, for sure i know.

This drives me crasy and i have no ideas left.

I had similar problem and it was the injector pump also. It was the metering valve that went bad it cost me over $700 to have it rebuilt. I just finished installing it and now everything on my MF65 is just fine.

Follow the procedures in your Operator Manual. My model is different, but call for loosening each line at the injectors one at a time until fuel leaks out. Tom
