I am trying to figure out an unusual hitch on a MF sickle mower thats coming up in an auction. The id plate is unreadable, I think its a 30 or 31. Thats not my real problem however. It has a hitch I have never seen before. Its a Dyna Balance mower that appears to hitch to brackets under the axle trumpets. Being unfamilar with the hitch its hard to tell if its complete. Any help, especially a picture would be much appreciated. [No picture available] It was originally mounted on a MF 65.

Pete, It is a Massey-Harris-Ferguson model 30,also
sold to Ferguson dealers as a FEO-20 or FEO 30.
This is just before being called Massey Ferguson.
The mower is excellent, but more cumbersome to
hook up. Be sure you know it is all there. I don't
scan and time probably doesn't permit mailing but
the brackets under the axle housings are different
between standard and hi clearance tractors-longer
for hi-clearance. Be sure it has rounded-multi
bend frame assy.with chain and the double iron
strut assy-also the tubular struts that go under
the fenders. Good luck, Chuck
