Intermittent rough idle

I use a MF-50 Z-134 When the idle is rough it produces a bad exhaust smell which is very uncomfortable.

When idle is rough I adjust the idle mixture screw for higher idle it runs smooth and no bad exhaust smell... after 15-20 minuted rough idle returns I have to readjust the idle mixture screw again 15-20 minutes again and again.

The screw is well retained by the spring and do not turn by itself...gas is new...sediment bowl & filter are new...new points/condenser/plugs new cap/rotor carburetor drained several times by the drain plug under carb...new vented gas cap...air filter cleaned and new oil....
compression 120 PSI �8 PSI among the 4.

never had your exact problem but if I did, I would replace needle/seat in carb and make sure the float was gas-tight and properly adjusted
