My 1976 MF Crawler/loader has a hydrolic reverser. When it first starts up, it runs great. After the reverser gets up to operating temperature it starts hesitating to move from one direction to the other. If left in forward (or reverse) it will run all day long, until you go to neutral or try to change direction. Then it just sits there as if it's in neutral. After the trans cools down, you can get on it and run it again just like it should,,,,, ,until it gets warmed up again.
Is there no one out there that has a clue to what my problem might be?????
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I appreciate your reply. I actually, after all I've been thru, have not checked the torque converter. I just assumed that since it will run all day in one direction, that it probably wouldn't be an issue. Perhaps you're right. It definitly won't hurt to check it.
Thanks
BA
