Sounds like the timings wrong on the cylinder if u ask me

Hi, the rocker arms are mildsteel and would not break as if they were cast. They should bend before breaking. It does sound very much like the timing is out. If it is happening on all cylinder this would indicate timing. Remove the injector from one cylinder. Using a wire or long thin screwdriver insert it into the injector port. Turn the engine over by hand until that particular piston is at top dead centre (wire at highest point. If your timing is correct both valves will be free. If a valve is open you do not have TDC on the firing stroke. If you find that the timing is out there is nothing short of removing the front cover. Don't waste time trying to align the marks by turning the engine. Remove the centre gear and align the marks with the crank, fuel pump and camshaft marks.
