i need help identifying the loader and backhoe on my mf40 digger. there is a serial on the backhoe on the valve block but they forgot to stamp the model. i cannot find a serial on the loader maybe missing or cant see it.

the loader i can only say uses the same seat as the driver. it just flips .

and it has vertical legs and rams encased in large square box.

the front loader is the same as most ive seen on here but has self levelling arms above main arms to keep bucket level

are bushes and pins available for either? i have asked earlier but nothing yet.

again this machine has been abused and all pins and bushes badly worn.
i call her elvis as shes the king of rock and roll

any help appreciated

From your description of the backhoe, it sounds like a model 220

I think the 220 hoe is a US model and don't know if the UK used the same model or not. The loader is definetly exclusive to UK machines. Dave

I have a book with a picture of a UK 40 but gives the US description. With vertical stabilizers it should be a side shift backhoe. The loader with self leveling arms and 4 bar linkage is different from the US models but looks like a very good loader. Sorry only have the US model numbers. Hopefully someone else will have more info. You may have to have pins and bushings made but they aren't that big so it shouldn't cost too much. Dave
