I'm in the process of rebuilding a F226 continental engine out of a 1945 MH 101 Sr and i can't find torque settings for the rod bolts, main journal caps or the head bolts. Anybody know what would be a good number to torque them too? Thanks for any information.

Ben,

If you like, I can send you the Continental L head overhaul manual in PDF format when I get in later tonight. It covers most of the L head models. The Continental torque specs in this manual are listed by component and bolt/stud size for all models so you have to know your sizes.
