What is the oil capacity on the 248 in this?
Is the IT shope manual the best for this tractor?
How good of tracktors are they? I just bought one in great cosmetic shape but needs some work on the motor. Sad they didn"t do regulare oil changes.
If all works out I plan to get this in good shape and sell my Ford 4000 for the bigger massey.

Hi,
Engine oil capacity for the standard '248' engine is 8 litres or 14 UK pints.

Best to buy all 3 MF manuals: Operator Manual, Repair Manual, and Parts Manual. Best money you will ever spend. I have a MF-690 which replaced the 275, and has the same Perkins engine. It is a solid, good tractor. Good luck. Tom

The 275 is a good tractor. The MF manual would be the best. Others on here have noticed mistakes in other manuals.
