I have an 1100 diesel. I've used it for a year with no problems, now it quits every 30 minutes. I have to prime and bleed it to start it. Every time it quits, the filter head is full of air. Can't find an air leak, anywhere. Can I reroute the return line back to the tank to get rid of the air? I'm sick of messing with it!! TIA, Karl

Have you checked to see in there is gunk in the fuel tank. could be stopping the supply, the air could be vapor caused by high suction pressure(vacuum)

I have a 175 that did the same thing. Turns out the rubber washers on the fuel lines running to and out of the lift pump had deteriorated. I replaced both for 90 cents and the tractor hasn't missed a lick since. I have heard that the 1100 lift pumps give a lot of trouble too. David

The supply pump has a very fine screen inside it and if this is stopped up it will cause cavitation and there's your air in the filter heads. Make sure your line from the tank to the pump isn't pinched or crimped anywhere.Good luck, David
