I have a mf 65 with 38" adjustable wheels and the one is getting tired. I have not found a place to buy new ones. Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks for all the replies. How wide of a tire has anyone put on a 65?

Tony Carbaugh out of Turner Oregon sells the new 38" spin out rims They are shipped out of Missouri and are very reasonable, I think. You can contact him at 503-767-3660.

I also have a 65 w/ adjustable rims. They are starting to rot from the stem area. If I want to go with regular rims what problems would I have.

I don't know where you can get new wheels, but I discovered a few years ago that Allis Chalmers power adjust wheels bolt right up to a MF 65. They are pretty common in the Tractor salvage yards, and used on AC 175's and 185's and others. The nice thing about them is they just use bolts to lock the rims to the centers vs the lock bolts that always seem to get broke off on MF's. AC uses wider rims and tires also, which really make a 65 look a lot better, and give better traction.

Its interesting to hear that the AC wheels fit right on to an MF, I remember reading before that the power adjustable wheels or PAVT as MF called them were invented by AC and the designs used under licence by MF and others for many years

You may be right, the wheels and rims look identical to MF, except for the bolts that lock the rims to the centers. And the 65's look real good with the wider rims and tires.
