Hi

Need to find out about 3 point hitch for Massey Harris 101 jr. First, is it feasible to build one? If so, anyone got plans or anything to base a design on? Second, how much can I expect to pay for a 3 point hitch? Hopefully, it will not depend on the year. Tractor has PTO already.

I have a 101 jr also, and would like to make a 3 point hitch for it. The biggest problem is that they don't have factory hydralics. To overcome this you will need a hydralic pump. I found one off of a Massey Harris combine that had a continental engine. There is a live hydralic pump that mounts to the left side of the engine, where there is currently a block off plate on my engine now. It looks like it will bolt right on. To make the rest of the hitch I will probobly copy the design from a MH 44. Let me know if you have any better suggestions.
