With much help from Big Dean and all, I have finally made final adjustments and reinstalled the lift cover to my MF135. I had to put a washer in the top link spring assembly to take up the slack (no adjustment left)as the spring had fatigued over time and then made adjustmnents to draft, etc. response as per IT manual. Didn't have MF spacers the manual talked about (Used a 1/2" thick block instead as per Big Dean's suggestion, but had to make substantial adjustments - this makes me think that I did something wrong.....Anyway, new fluid is in up to bottom of the PTO lever and reponse cover holes. Now ready to make a few final adjustments as per the manual and I'll strt the tractor. Any suggestions before doing so?. Is it normal for the rocker/lift arms to be completely limp at this stage? i.e, I can move them up and down through their full travel without any resistance.....I'd hate to have to take it all apart again..... .

Hello Wade! Haven't heard from you in a while! If your lift arms don't move up and down easy- you got problems. Do you have a dipstick on the right side? You should. Fluid should be checked with all cylinders extended. gotta start the tractor and raise the lift arms! Sounds like you have a GO! Hope your cooling system is up to date-JIM

Hi to you Jim! Yes..it has been a while....seems I don't get the time to spend on the "project" that it requires..... Yes, the lift arms do move up and down VERY easily. I thought TOO easily, as I remember there being a bit of resistance at the end of the stroke when I had the cover on the work bench - now there's none! Yes, dip stick is there - when I put the the Response Adjustment cover back on, that is. Glad to hear of your optimism. I'll post a result later. Could be a couple of weeks as I don't expect to be able to work on it this weekend. Bye for now, Wade
