Would fitting an isolator valve to my massey 135 give me a little more power for a log splitter?

Thanks for the reply David.To be more specific if you can help,is there a certain amount of power loss because the lift arms have to go up which would not be the case if the isolator valve was used?

Hello Andy,
Yes, you are right to a point. It does take some hydraulic power to hold the arms up. The drain is minimal unless you have an internal leak from the cylinder for example. If it was my tractor I would certainly go for an isolating valve as it gives you more control over the system.
