I removed both the position and draft levers so that I could respray the tractor. I have just refitted them and now find that I have no lift whatsoever. Can the levers be replaced incorrectly? I notice that the shafts can turn round and round when the levers are removed, but because the levers are "keyed" onto the shaft, I thought that there was only one correct position for them on the shaft.

The tractor was probably immobile for around 2 years during the restoration, might this have something to do with it? PTO works OK.

I will have to remove a side inspection cover and have a look inside, but what should I be looking for in particular?

Probably have to remove the lift cover. The quadrant levers can jump time. But take the side plate off and see if the controml valve moves with the levers.
