mf135 point spacing

I have a 135 massey with 3 cylinder Perkins. What"s the spacing for the points. I changed the points and now it won"t run smoothly at high speed.

You need the owner's manual. Changing point gap also changes the ignition timing.

Plus there are many other useful and safety items covered in the manual.

There were different editions of the manual for Perkins gas and for Continental gas.

Andrew: If you set your point gap at .020 you it should run. Don Snyder
