These points will each contribute to a wobbly front end: Front axle pivot. Radius rod ball end. Radius rod front bolts. Front and rear drag link ends. Front spindle bearings. Wheel bearings. Steering gear bearings. Steering gear adjustment of gear mesh. End play of the steering wheel shaft (some is necessary to run the power steering valve). You have to fix them all. I find a boot (with foot in it) applied to each drag link rear can kill the oscillation when running down the road at 22 mph with my MF-135. Its not been a problem at field work speeds though I have some new drag link ends, new bearings in the gear box, and new bolts at the front ends of the radius rods. The I&T or a real MF shop manual will help set up the steering gear box. The original bearings were heavy walled Garlok bushings, steel backed copper. They aren't made any more. I used a lathe to carve porous bronze bussings to fit, then after they shrank being pushed in, I used a hunk of wood turned to fit and bits of carborundum sandpaper to lap them to size. I haven't replaced spindle bushings, pivot pin, or all the drag link ends yet. Gerald J.
